The road is short when you know it leads right to heaven. This small autumn landscape painting is just a way of "putting an idea on paper." It is inspired by Oksana's home country landscapes and views. Occasionally, one sees nothing but road that leads right into the sky. Every journey in Oksana's childhood was a dream-come-true because it's an opportunity to stare out of the window and get lost in thoughts. To this day, she always gets a window seat in any transport so that she can stare out of the window at a passing by world.
This painting depicts a road that disappears into the sky. There are tall and skinny poplar trees on each side of the road. Yellow leaves fill up the sides of painting and blend with the cold autumn skies. The road is illuminated with sunset sunrays that peek through tree trunks. The painting is done in vivid yellows, king's blues, and warm gray tones. It's 5 by 7 inches and comes unframed.
