Every person's soul is a mystery. It's like a river of intertwining threads, appearing on the surface and diving deep into the abyss. This set of artworks was inspired by the complexity of human being, all the capacity for good and bad, and of course, choices. This set consists of two paintings that can be arranged in different way. They can be framed and placed side by side or hanged as raw canvas. They can be rotated, hanged above one another, or at different heights.
River of Souls diptych was created with acrylic paint on cotton canvas. They are completed in turquoise and red colors with occasional white of the canvas showing through. There’s some texture to the brushstrokes, so the paintings are not completely flat. Both paintings are 8 inch tall, 10 inch wide, and 0.6 inch deep. These artworks come unframed and without hanging hardware.
