Pink peonies are one of Oksana's favorite flowers. In this small sketch, she tried to capture a massive bouquet of peonies in a glass vase. This painting features small, but prominent brushstrokes on the flowers. This rough texture signifies the fullness and richness of peony flowers. Each flower has so many layers of petals that it’s hard to tell them apart; they form a sphere of sorts that sits on a thin stem, like a lollypop. This painting depicts these delicate flowers in a similar form.
