This little landscape piece was in Oksana's collection for a long time, but she’s ready to let it go. She often spent summers in the countryside, and her love for farm life shows in her paintings. Depicted here are lavender fields in the late afternoon. The crops are almost ready to be gathered, but the weather has its own mind. The heavy clouds are gathering strength after a downpour, but maybe the wind will carry them away. For now, it’s only the smell of the lavender and petrichor all captured in this tiny oil painting.
